  1. Right-click the QBWUSER.ini file.
  2. Choose Rename.
  3. At the end of the file name, you are required to add .old (as in QBWUSER.ini.old).
  4. Rename the EntitlementDataStore.ecml file.
  5. Reopen QuickBooks Desktop.
